Cloud2 has been awarded the Amazon Web Services (AWS) DevOps competency after demonstrating its excellence in delivering DevOps solutions in the AWS cloud. AWS DevOps Competence requires expertise in all areas of DevOps, tools for understanding cultural change, and the ability to take customers forward, enabling DevOps operating models. AWS DevOps Competency is one of the more challenging competencies to complete and has been accomplished by less than 300 AWS partners worldwide. Achieving this means that things have been done by the book for already some time. This greatly accelerated our accumulation of the required material for this competence. Generally, it may take several months to walk through the process. It took us a month. “The project taught us a lot, but in the end it was easy and quick for us to get the necessary material together because we have been doing this for a long time in accordance with public cloud best practices. In such audits, it is important to be able to demonstrate your own way of operating and how it is best utilized with different clients. One of the factors that drove us to the finish line was our way of building customer relationships from the beginning to fit the DevOps model, where the foundation of the cloud, or Landing Zone, is created using Infrastructure-as-Code. ” Anton Floor, Cloud2 AWS competencies demonstrate to customers their cloud partners expertise and how they’re able to match customer needs with cloud best practices. The audit process itself is extremely rigorous and includes AWS internal survey as well as external auditing. With this competency, Cloud2 strengthens its position as a leader in DevOps.
