Cloud2, the Nordic cloud and AI services company, has been granted Anthropic Authorised Reseller status. Nordic organizations can now purchase Anthropic’s Claude AI models directly from Cloud2 via Amazon Bedrock with EU data residency and enterprise-grade governance from day one.
Anthropic’s Authorized Reseller programme is one of the most selective in the cloud industry. Tens of thousands of AWS partners are in the queue and only a small number have been approved worldwide. Cloud2 is among the first in the Nordics to be granted this status, reflecting its position as an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner with validated AWS Security and Digital Sovereignty competencies.
Frontier AI with EU data residency
When Claude is accessed directly from Anthropic, data is processed on global infrastructure without an EU data residency option. For regulated industries and organisations bound by European compliance requirements, this has been a barrier to adopting frontier AI models in production.
Through Cloud2 and Amazon Bedrock, Claude runs on AWS infrastructure in Europe.
No data is routed to Anthropic’s US infrastructure.
Combined with Cloud2’s AWS Digital Sovereignty Competency, customers get a deployment model built to satisfy boards, regulators, and compliance teams.
Security validated by AWS, not self-declared
Cloud2 holds both the AWS Security Competency and the AWS Digital Sovereignty Competency. These designations are required by AWS to validate a partner’s actual delivery practices. For organizations evaluating where to run AI workloads, this provides a level of assurance that goes beyond standard partnership tiers.
Customers deploying Claude through Cloud2 benefit from the same security operations, monitoring, and governance framework that Cloud2 delivers across its managed cloud platform service.
One partner, less complexity
Rather than adding another vendor relationship, another contract, and another integration project, Cloud2 customers can access Claude within their existing AWS environment and partner relationship. Billing, security posture management, monitoring, and support can all be managed by us.
Under the agreement, Cloud2 can resell Claude models to customers via the AWS Bedrock API, either as part of Cloud2’s AWS cloud capacity resale or as a component of Cloud2’s AI and data services.
